Receipts & Warranties

A focused app concept for keeping proof of purchase, warranty dates, and reminders together before you actually need them.

What problem is this app meant to solve?

The moment you need a receipt is usually the worst moment to start searching for it. The paper has faded, the email subject is unclear, or the warranty term was remembered as “about two years.”

This product direction treats the purchased item as the center of the record: what it is, when it was bought, where the proof lives, how long coverage lasts, and when action may still be useful.

Planned problem areas

  1. Receipt organization. Keep the proof of purchase connected to the product rather than buried in a generic folder.
  2. Warranty date calculation. Convert months or years of coverage into a clear estimated expiry date.
  3. Useful reminders. Surface a reminder while there is still time to inspect, claim, return, or follow up.
  4. Portable records. Make the important information understandable without requiring a complicated setup.

The warranty expiry calculator is available now. Enter the purchase date and warranty length to estimate the expiry date and suggested reminders. It runs in the browser and does not submit the dates to byASB.

Is the app available to download?

Not yet. The page documents the intended job of the product while the app is in development. Official platform, price, feature, and release details will be added only after they are confirmed.

A calculated expiry date is an estimate. Manufacturer terms, registration requirements, regional consumer law, repairs, replacements, and proof-of-purchase rules can change actual coverage.
